Payment Details on Transactions, Checkout Branding & Header Balances

Transaction pages now show the card or wallet that paid, and checkout pages carry your logo, colors and customer notes.
Payment Details on Transactions
Every transaction page now has a single Payment details card showing the payment method, the card that paid (brand, last four and expiry) and the amount breakdown. Stablecoin (digital dollar) payments show the wallet that paid and its blockchain, including older payments.
Order pages now show an order's internal and customer notes, and the transaction page shows them for the linked order, so you can match a sale to its note.
Hosted Checkout Branding
Decal's hosted checkout pages now carry your logo, display name and colors in every state, from paying through the receipt and on expired or cancelled links. Customers also see the order's customer note beneath the order details, before paying and on their receipt. Internal notes are never shown to customers.
A paid checkout now always shows its receipt, even when the customer finished paying in a wallet's in-app browser or after the link's time window passed.
Header Balances
Signed-in customers now see their Stored Value balance in your storefront's header on every page. It counts down the moment they pay with it, and in-store spends and refunds show up on their next page load.
Minor Improvements
- Mobile wallets return customers to the checkout they came from after approving a payment.
- Improved payment errors. When the payment service can't be reached, customers are told so, not asked to try another payment method.
- Long business names stay on one line in the header, so it holds its layout on phones.
- Every dashboard session is listed under account security, where you can sign any of them out. You may be asked to sign in once more.
- Orders in the API include a
sourcenaming the channel that created them, such as your storefront, a checkout link, the API, the dashboard or an external POS.
