Redesigned Receipts
Improved customer receipts! The paid date and order number sit right under the confirmation header. Each discount appears once with its percentage, and an inclusive tax is noted under the subtotal it's calculated on.
Merchants with VAT taxes configured will see their VAT number and address moved to a compact footer at the bottom. The checkout page no longer shows your address and VAT number before payment.
Receipts also show exactly what the customer paid. For a Digital Cash payment, customers can open the stablecoins and on-chain transaction behind it to check against their wallet. If they paid in another currency, the receipt shows that currency and the rate. The same amount appears on your orders and transactions pages in the dashboard as well as the staff sale confirmation in your POS.
Clearer Tips
Checkout summaries show a tip line only once the customer chooses a tip, and the preview in your tip settings matches. On a discounted order, the tip step says which amount its suggested tips are calculated on, so a percentage of the full price makes sense next to a smaller amount due.
Discounts & Coupons
Discounts and coupons are now in private beta. The customer is charged only their share, each discount is recorded on the order, and tax is still calculated on the full price.
On staff facing POS surfaces, staff see the customer's share before charging, and the customer's QR screen shows the original price struck through above the amount to pay.
Minor Improvements
- Percentage discounts show the money taken off on checkout, receipts and your order page, with a total discount row beneath them.
- Wallet payouts let you pick which stablecoin to send. Your payout activity shows each payout's status and keeps refreshing while one is on its way.
- Checkout stops offering a payment method as soon as it becomes unavailable.
